Truckee, CA. JAN.13-16.2022. It's my bday times (JAN 7th actually). 2nd annual WINTERFEST™️. A change to kick it and enjoy snowy cozy vibes. Days are very flexible to your liking (some will ski, some will chill, some will go into town), Nights are chill and themed, hot tub, music, and food and drink.
This is one of the bigger houses that was scouted. around 4750sqft with multiple hang out areas, and hot tub, and likely a siq snowy view.
So I think as a base value the price will be around $140 / night for VRBO. This price reflected has been subsidized with my (chris') own funds as well (VRBO fees ugh). I think we won't have too bad of bed issue, but having a dedicated bed (outside of a surplus) will be a little more. And having a air mattress / not a bed will result in a little less.

MAX CARS
So apparently we need to have a maximum of 5 cars. I dont see this in the contract or on VRBO so can double check but we should try to carpool as much as possible. Getting closer and proper headcount, will coordinate more on this. Also I will double check this number.
4 X 4 / SNOW
Truckee in this area should have a decent amount of snow. 4 X 4 / Snow Chains will be required. Ensure you have proper tires and vehicle.

We so far have around 12 people confirmed and 8 beds, with a few beds already confirmed to be shared so likely 95% people will get beds if not 100%! I myself am ok to couch / airbed it. Irregardless, plethora of airbeds will be brought as well. We will coordindate. Please contact chris for any other questions.
Ideally the most easy and economic way is to stock the house with booze and snacks. Dinners, I'm most curious about, but I think thursday dinner will be hands off / ad-hoc / order-inwe will go to town. Breakfast
I'm not personally big on breakfast but will require coffee for sure. I imagine eggs maybe bacons would be of interest. Give feed back here. FOOD + DRINK REQUESTS FORM
Dinner
Wasn't really on planning to account for lunch, but more snacks, breakfasts, drinks, and dinner. I was thinking for dinner mainly something stewy, and easy to cook over time vs a lot of pre-dinner prep / maintenence. We can also optionally order in, but would love your feedback. Drinks
Im partial to seltzers (if you didnt know) and hard liquor, but would love to hear your interests.FOOD + DRINK REQUESTS FORM. PS we may have a blind taste test of some sort i think to keep the tradition alive.

Later it'll be formalized into playlist. Some of them i added to test and will be removed just fyi. More oligarch themed stuff would be welcomed.
Like every rental on the planet, this airbnb / vrbo is in a residential neighborhood so excessive noise is prohibited. as a larger group, we need to make sure we self-police ourselves in terms of noise especially after 8pm. While we will have fun and enjoy, we cannot get me banned (looking at your XTIAN) thanks.
No screaming / excessive DNB after 8PM. We can still rage, just cant be rediculously loud to get me banned lol and upset the neighbs.
Any outside hottub activity after 8pm can not be loud. No music outside after 8. (please for the sake of my rep)

Unfortunately pets aren't allowed at this airbnb / vrbo. If you have a support animal, let me know and I can attempt to coordinate.
Ski / snowboarding
Closest ski resorts are Northstar and Squaw. We can coordinate closer to the weekend, but I do have a plug I have used in the past to get cheaper tix we can try. I assume this is an event that can happen either fri / sat / or both depending on the crew going. Totally optional.
Snowmobiling
I dunno I just kinda wanna research this and possibly do this. Let me know if you vibe wit it.
Sledding
Everyone wanted to do this so hopefully it can be a low key thing we do in the afternoon / evening whoever is down either near the house or elsewhere.
For everyone's safety and assurance, being fully vaccinated + boosted up is required.
